How to Knit: The Welck Stitch - Video

How to Knit: The Welck Stitch

I love this pattern. It is full of texture and has a squishy, cozy feeling to it.

This pattern would work well in fingerless mitts, adding that special touch of texture to a sweater, in a hat and a wash rag.

It comes in multiples of 4 + 3

Details:

R1: K3, * sl 1 purlwise, k3; repeat from * to end.

R2: K3, *YF, sl 1 purlwise, YB, k3; repeat from * to end.

R3: L1,*sl 1 purlwise, k3; repeat from * to last 2 sts, sl1 purlwise, k1.

R4: P1, sl1 purlwise, *p3, sl 1 purlwise; repeat from * to last st, p1.

Repeat these 4 rows.
