How to Knit: The Oblique Rib

I love the asymmetrical texture of this ribbing.

It can be used as ribbing but I think it would make nice wash rags and fingerless mitts.

Details:

Knits up in multiples of 4

R1 (RS)- *k2, p2; repeat from * to end.

R2- k1, *p2, k2;repeat from * to last 3 sts, p2, k1.

R3- *p2, k2; repeat, from * to end. R4- P1, *k2, p2; repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1.

Repeat these 4 rows.
